How do we use your data?
We only use the information you provided us to communicate with you about MSF’s work, actions you can take to support our work, or usage of this website.

Who can see your data?
1. Designated employees of MSF who are responsible for communication or fundraising.
2. Technical administrators of vendors we partner with to develop digital tools or store data.

How do we secure your data?
We work to implement best practices for data protection and privacy, for example in line with the EU framework for data privacy and protection, known as General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and to ensure that our vendors do as well.

How can you control your data?
You may request changes to your data or complete removal of your data from our files at any time by writing to [email protected]. We also make it easy for our email subscribers to unsubscribe via a link at the bottom of each email that we send you.

What other data do we store?
In order to assess and improve performance of this website we use a number of services to collect anonymous user behaviour insights and analyse how visitors user our website. Detailed information is provided below.

Collected Data

We collect, use and share diligently and in strict compliance with the applicable laws the personal data that you freely choose to share with us when you decide to use our website (such as your email address - when you subscribe to our newsletter -  your name,  email address, location, signature to a petition - when you sign an online action such as petition).

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your personal data and shall inform us of any change thereto. We shall bear no liability for the consequences of inaccurate or untrue data.

Use, Sharing and Opting Out

As a general rule, your personal data will not be used for any other purposes than those for which they were voluntarily provided to us. Your personal data are shared or transferred to third parties if such sharing or transfer is authorized by you or required to achieve the purposes for which you have provided them to us. For instance, by registering to our newsletter, you consent that your personal data (in particular name and email) be processed for the purpose of sending you emails.

Rights of Access and Correction

In order to achieve that, you may simply connect to your account and make whatever modifications are necessary in your profile. We will delete your personal data but keep certain connection data, specific demographical and statistical data referring to you and an anonymous copy, in our archives, of your information.
