These gaps manifest themselves in many ways, from conflicts that delay lifesaving vaccines from being delivered to people, fuelling deadly, vaccine-preventable disease outbreaks, to failures to attach access conditions to the research and development of new medical tools, resulting in inequitable access to final products.
