AMR, FTAs, TB: spelling out the access issues

Acronyms and global health often seem to go together. On the one hand, abbreviations like acronyms can be useful when you need to have a quick and easy way to talk about a complicated topic, especially one with a very long name.

On the other hand, acronyms and jargon can feel a bit like barriers to entry. We want to make sure that everyone feels comfortable, informed, and ready to take part in the conversation around improving access to health products.  That’s why, this month, we’re going to spell out a few of the acronyms we use as daily shorthand in the MSF Access offices (FTAs, TB, and AMR) and explore what these topics have to do with access to health products.
