Backgrounder for WTO Hong Kong Ministerial on Second-Line Antiretrovirals

A few years after the historic fall in first-line AIDS drug prices from over $10,000 to $175 per patient/year, people living with HIV/AIDS are again facing the possibility that life-saving drugs will be priced out of their reach.
