Antibiotic Resistance - Running out of Options

Over half of the patients admitted to MSF’s reconstructive surgical project in Amman, Jordan, arrive with a multidrug-resistant infection. Alarmed by the surging rates of antibiotic resistance, MSF held a conference in Amman in September to highlight the challenges it faces with treating patients resistant to many of the antibiotics in common use, and raise the alarm about running out of treatment options.
