For 6 years drug giant Novartis pursued a legal case in India that threatens access to life-saving affordable medicines for millions across the developing world.
Since launching our Twitter-based campaign in 2012, well over 20,000 messages have been sent telling Novartis to drop its case. #StopNovartis
In the end, Novartis never did drop the case. But in 2013, India’s Supreme Court ruled against the corporation. It was a major victory for people in developing countries who depend on affordable generic medicines to save lives and protect health.
